NORWICH — State funding helped MB Graphic Designs owner Michelle Blais expand her home-based web design business, letting her add how-to courses for businesses seeking an online presence.
“Not only does it help my business create an extra stream of revenue, it helps other business owners to develop their own marketing materials, to write their own website, and choose their own images in confidence,” Blais said.
MB Graphic Designs was one of the women-owned businesses featured Friday morning in Norwich, during a visit from Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz. Bysiewicz, the Women’s Business Development Council, and other local and state officials promoted the Women’s Equity Match Grant outside the recently-opened Norwich Fitness Center on Wisconsin Avenue.
